NBA Rant: All-Star Madness

So all star Weekend is finally over. there were some plays made, champions crowned,and records broke. it was a fun time and i enjoyed watching every minute of it. hopefully, next year will be as hype as this one.

LeBron James is a beast. How do you go into the half down by 20+ and come within 3 of a victory? By giving the ball to LeBron James. Yo, dude lost his mind in the last half of that All-Star spectacle! He was completely dead locked from the 3, splashing at least two right in Kobe’s face. sh*t was incredible to watch. It;s a shame he doesn’t play like this 100 percent of the time. Maybe there would be a banner in Miami instead of Dallas if he had.

Kobe Bryant is still a beast. Dude came out and went 9 for 11, wetting two threes in the process. with the exception of an errant mid jumper, all of his missed shots were from the arc. that mess is insane. HE even took up the INSANE challenge of guarding James in the 4th. that’s like standing front of a freight train! oh, also, Kobe kind of became the leading scorer in all star history, leaping past the Big O, Cap, and MJ all in tonight’s game. Legacy, bro.

KD deserved that All-Star MVP. yo, cat was playing out of control! he slowed down considerably in the 4th,but those first three quarters are why the West was up so much at the half. i expect big things from the Durantula this season and, honestly, i am rooting for him to get the MVP sweep. Tall order, i know, but i believe in KD.

Kevin Love will stroke you out of a game. Man, i had no idea dude’s range was so profound! he shoots like Dirk but bangs like Z-Bo! if Minnesota can get some consistency out of their shooters, these kids will be a terror in the playoffs.

Ricky Rubio is legit. That Frosh/Soph game was a joke but it showed me Rubio is serious about his sh*t. give that cat another year in the league and we’ll be talking about a Nash 2.0 out in the boonies.

What the f*ck is a skills competition? Why is this a thing?

The slam dunk contest was not as bad as every one made it out to be. That cat from the Jazz was actually pretty creative. the double ball lob dunk was tasty. all in all, sh*t was pretty so-so, but they’ve all been so for some years.
